Blaming your unborn sister for breaking the lamp, I think, uses the same relative theory as when I used to ask Erik to go use the bathroom for me because I didn't want to have to get off the top bunk. Since he was on the bottome bunk it would be a lot easier for him. It never worked though.... no matter how hard he tried.

i was there for the praying puppet...... When the pastor asked the puppet to pray I was saying "say no, puppet, say no"
sadly since that day i to have made a puppet pray. it wasnt my finest hour. but the puppet asked Jesus to forgave him for being jealous of another puppet. I would like to say i am sorry to that pastor who i have laughed at for years and years.

Thought provoking! My husband often says he feels change in the air - usually at a time of frustration or discontentment. You're right. It sure isn't easy to follow God's Will. It often means moving out of a comfort zone. I do believe that He causes discomfort sometimes to motivate us to move in another direction. I hope things all work out for you during this time of discontent.

Loved that show. Loved every show you mentioned actually. Great analogy. I'm reading a book right now called "The Discipline of Grace" by Jerry Bridges. I only say this because there is rarely an opportunity for me to say "I'm reading a book right now." But in the book it exemplifies the fact that we not only are to live by the grace afforded to us by God (the special powers we receive through salvation), but we are also called to live out the disciplines of the faith (Bible study, discipleship, holiness, etc). Going along with your analogy, we shouldn't quit just because we crash every now and then. God's grace is sufficient (2 Cor 12:9). But we must strive for holiness and continually work out our salvation. We cannot walk this Christian life like we're suppose to by grace alone. But it's surely not by works alone that we live out this Christian life either. We try to find the balance between God's grace and our efforts when it's really both completely working together. It's like in a raft. Use only one oar and you'll just end up going in circles. Use both oars and you'll get where you're supposed to go.

Troupe. Sorry...you guys know I had to. Oh....and I laughed hysterically reading this. It's common knowledge that I, too, hate puppetry- especially when used in ministry. haha
